school year 2008/2009 is over

Dear friends. The school year 2008/2009 is over. Teachers can relax a little bit. Pupils have received their school reports. Our project is over, too! Hope you enjoyed it! It was really a pleasure for me :)

A little present was given to my 14 pupils - but unfortunately I forgot to take it on the photo :( it was a funny pencil with rubber.

It´s nice to inform you that yesterday, every of my pupils received a letter (hand made postcard) from his/her partner from France!!! It was lovely to see their pursuit of understanding!

LAST THINGS TO DO!

My students had to re-write the letters three times! They made so many mistakes that I was really disappointed. Is it the influence of the holidays? Nobody knows...
Finally, I sent the letters and small postcards on the 18th of July! Hopefully the French pupils will receive them by the end of this week!

My French colleague, Lorraine, wrote yesterday that she would send the postcards as soon as possible. If they come during the holiday (we will be on holidays the next week), I will try to deliver them TO ALL OF YOU!

The LAST thing I have to do is to send the THANK YOU LETTERS to some of our partner. One has been already sent!

Yes, small postcards are written. You have to translate the text for your school penpals and we are going to re-write it correctly then I will send all the letters.

Two weeks left until the summer holidays start!!!

After all

It´s already the 2nd of June and soon, we will be on holidays. I haven´t been here such for a long time. I was busy: we were in San Remo at Festival of Creativity in School with students of the Year 9, they played Snow White there. Then, I was ill and it lasted whole the month. I have just came back from the 2-day-school trip with the pupils from the Year 6.
I sent the letters about "MY FUTURE" to our French friends and I think they have already received it. We are going to do the last exchange: wish them Happy Summer Holidays! It´ll be a fun :))
The most hard-working pupils from your class will be awarded and they will receive a small kind surprise at the end of June. So, see you...
