ACTIVE OR PASSIVE VOICE


 ACTIVE OR PASSIVE VOICE? Decide.

The hockey is played in Canada.

Spanish is spoken in Mexico.

They rarely write e-mails.

Maja lost Adam´s credit card yesterday.  

They were cooking the dinner when the phone rang. 

Children are playing basketball in the park.

Somebody stole my bike.  

The messages were written yesterday at night.

Maja is washing the dishes.

The car has been washed since 1 o´clock.




Subject Verb Object
Pr. Simple              Active:       The boys                  playthe football.
Passive:       The football               is playedby the boys.



Subject Verb Object
Pr. Continuous  Active:      The builders                  are buildingthe new offices.
 Passive:   The new offices               are being builtby the builders.


Rewrite in a passive voice.
