If and Conditionals

       = AK (reálna podmienka)
IF 
       = KEBY (nereálna podmienka)

v angličtine po IF (s týmto významom) nikdy nenasleduje 
WILL, WON´T  ani WOULD, WOULDN´T   !!!!!!

ex1. If I find your keys, I will call you.
ex2. If I were you, I would tell her about it.

The FIRST CONDITIONAL - reálna podmienka
    If + PRESENT , hlavná veta s WILL/WON´T

ex. If you hurry, you´ll catch the bus.
If it doesn´t rain, we won´t need to take the umbrella.
You should wear a tie, if you go to a job interview.
If you are expecting somebody, your flat will need to be cleaned.
If you have finished, I will switch it off.

ZÁKONITOSTI sa často vyjadrujú dvoma vetami v prítomnom čase jednoduchom.
If you heat the water, it boils.
If you press this button, the computer comes on.

The SECOND CONDITIONAL - nereálna podmienka
    If + PAST, hlavná veta s WOULD/ WOULDN´T

ex. If I ate the cake, I would get fatter.
If it rained, we wouldn´t go out.
I would probably buy a big house, if I had a million Euros.
If I were you, I´d ask for an advice.

The THIRD CONDITIONAL 
     If +  PAST PERFECT , hlavná veta s WOULD HAVE +  3.stĺpec

ex. If Mattew had phoned her, she would have been happy.
If you had been more careful, you wouldn´t have fallen on the street.

Translate:

If we win, we´ll go to the top of the league.
If we won, we´d go to the top of the league.
If we had won, we would have gone to the top of the league.

If he drinks, he doesn´t drive.
If he drinks, he won´t drive.
If he drank, he wouldn´t drive.
If he had drank, he wouldn´t have driven.
