We can definitely say that European children usually have breakfast. 78% of all children taking part in the questionnaire mentioned it. 96% of Italian and Spanish children eat breakfast. They are in the lead. However only 44% of German pupils do that. This is the lowest number among all the countries.
What do children usually have for breakfast? We can applaud the cereals with milk.
277 children from 525 have chosen cereals. Cereals are the most eaten breakfast in Spain (56%), 55% of Italian children like cereals, too. German children have obtained 50%, Slovak pupils 49%, Greeks 46% and finally Czech children with 45%.
Salted breakfast is interesting for 23% of Czech pupils, then comes Slovakia (22%) and Spain (21%).
